Skynile is a private ultra-luxury wellness retreat set within the ancient forests of Pennsylvania — not a hotel, not a spa, and not a glamping site. We have two forest locations: Dushore in Sullivan County and New Albany in Bradford County.

Each private glass geodesic dome comes with exclusive access to a complete contrast therapy circuit — Finnish sauna, Arctic cold plunge, hydrotherapy hot tub, outdoor soaking tub, cedar outdoor shower, fire pit, stargazing telescope, indoor rainfall shower, and Level 2 EV charging. Every element is private to your dome and available 24 hours a day for the entirety of your stay.

Maximum occupancy is two guests per dome. Nothing at Skynile is shared between guests.

Skynile is designed exclusively for couples seeking genuine restoration in complete privacy. Our guests typically share one thing: they want to genuinely disconnect — no shared facilities, no other guests, no scheduled sessions, no agenda.

Skynile is ideal for anniversaries, milestone birthdays, proposals, honeymoons, or simply the kind of reset that a standard hotel or spa cannot provide.

The fundamental difference is privacy. At a resort or spa, the sauna, hot tub, pool, and treatment facilities are shared with other guests — often requiring advance bookings for limited time slots.

At Skynile, every element of the wellness circuit belongs exclusively to two guests for the full stay. The hot tub at 3am. The sauna before sunrise. The cold plunge after returning from Ricketts Glen. No shared access. No booking in advance. No strangers in your space.

We recommend a minimum of 2 nights to fully experience the wellness circuit and explore the surrounding area. A single night is possible but does not allow adequate time to genuinely decompress.

Peak periods (October foliage, holiday weekends) may carry a minimum stay requirement at time of booking.

Each dome is a 7-metre (23ft) tempered glass geodesic structure with a high-strength 6063-T5 aluminium alloy framework. The glazing system is three-layer: exterior tempered safety glass (Ford Blue coating), polyurethane thermal insulation, and an interior panel for moisture and fire resistance.

The structure is engineered specifically for Pennsylvania's climate — designed for Sullivan County's 50 psf ground snow load, 115 mph wind design, and full four-season occupancy. Each dome has been PE-stamped by a licensed Pennsylvania structural engineer.

Each dome is 414 square feet of interior floor area with a maximum interior height of approximately 11.5 feet at the apex. The space includes a premium king bed, ensuite bathroom with rainfall shower, kitchenette, and a seating/living area.

The design is optimised for two guests — not undersized, but deliberately focused rather than sprawling.

Sleeping: Premium king bed with hotel-quality linens and forest views.

Bathroom: Ensuite with Kohler rainfall showerhead and handheld, full-size towels, premium toiletries.

Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchenette with 2-burner cooktop, mini fridge, sink, pots, pans, tableware, and utensils. Coffee and tea supplied.

Climate: Mini-split HVAC system providing both heating and cooling for year-round comfort.

Connectivity: WiFi provided. Most major carriers have service in the area.

What's not inside: Television and in-room entertainment systems are intentionally excluded — Skynile is designed for disconnection, not streaming.

Yes. The three-layer glazing system with polyurethane thermal insulation provides effective thermal performance for Pennsylvania winters. The mini-split HVAC system rapidly heats the interior and maintains consistent temperature regardless of outside conditions.

The contrast therapy circuit — sauna warming you from within, cold plunge invigorating, then back to the warmth of the hot tub or soaking tub — is arguably at its most powerful during winter. Many guests consider winter the finest season at Skynile.

All amenities are private to your dome. None are shared between guests.

Contrast therapy — alternating between heat and cold — is one of the most researched wellness practices for muscle recovery, circulation, stress reduction, and sleep quality improvement.

A typical Skynile circuit:

• Finnish sauna (15–20 min at 160–180°F)
• Arctic cold plunge (2–3 min at 50°F)
• Hot tub recovery (15–20 min at 102–104°F)
• Outdoor shower rinse
• Rest — soaking tub under the pergola
• Repeat 2–3 times as desired

There are no rules or schedules. Use the circuit in any order, for any duration, at any time. Instructions for each system will be provided at check-in.

Yes — all nine amenities are available 24 hours a day for the entire duration of your stay. There are no spa hours, no session windows, and no advance booking requirements.

The hot tub at midnight, the sauna before sunrise, stargazing at 2am — all of it is available whenever you choose.

The motorized aluminium louvred pergola (4m × 5m / 13ft × 16ft) covers the outdoor soaking tub and cold plunge zone. Motorized louvres allow you to open or close the roof with a single button — opening fully to reveal the Pennsylvania night sky for stargazing from the soaking tub, or closing to provide shelter from rain or direct sun.

It is one of the signature features of the Skynile outdoor experience — particularly on clear October nights when the Milky Way is visible above Sullivan and Bradford Counties.

This was a deliberate decision. Steam shower generators produce 60–75 decibels of mechanical noise during operation — equivalent to a running dishwasher. In a retreat designed around silence and forest sounds, this was unacceptable.

The Finnish sauna delivers the same core benefits as a steam shower (detoxification, muscle relaxation, improved circulation, stress relief) with superior dry-heat performance and no noise. We chose to do the sauna exceptionally rather than add steam as a compromised afterthought.

The cedar outdoor shower is designed with frost-proof plumbing and a self-draining system, allowing year-round use. Hot water is available regardless of outside temperature.

That said, some guests prefer to use the outdoor shower only in warmer months and rely on the ensuite indoor rainfall shower during deep winter. Both are always available.

Rates start at $1,195 per night and rise to $1,895 on peak and holiday dates.

Weekends, foliage season, Thanksgiving, Christmas week, and New Year's Eve are priced by demand. The exact rate for any given night is shown live in the booking calendar once you select your dates — that figure is always current.

All rates are for two guests and include full private access to the complete nine-amenity wellness circuit. No resort fees. No shared facility charges. No hidden costs.

We recommend booking as early as possible — particularly for October foliage season and holiday weekends.

Yes. Your payment schedule depends on how far in advance you book:

• Booking 0–14 days before arrival: 100% due at booking
• Booking 15+ days before arrival: 15% due at booking, remaining 75% due 60 days before arrival

• Cancel 14+ days before arrival: Full refund minus $75 processing fee
• Cancel within 14 days: No refund

Peak season:

Rescheduling: One complimentary date change is available up to 14 days before arrival, subject to availability.

There are no resort fees or facility charges. All nine wellness amenities are included in the nightly rate.

Yes. Both locations are independently bookable. Dushore and New Albany each have one dome currently open for reservations, with additional domes coming soon.

Both locations offer the identical wellness circuit and amenity specification.

Check-in at Skynile is fully self-directed. Prior to your arrival you will receive your dome name, location details, and a secure door access code.

On arrival, park in the designated area and proceed directly to your dome.

Check-out is simple. By 11:00 AM, please ensure lights are off, the door is secured, and any personal items are removed.

Skynile is designed for total privacy — staff are not on-site during your stay.

WiFi is provided in each dome. Most major US carriers have coverage in the Dushore and New Albany area, though signal strength varies.

Yes. Dedicated parking is available at both locations directly adjacent to your dome. Level 2 EV charging is included.

Each dome is designed and licensed for a maximum of two guests.

Reservations for three or more guests will not be accommodated.

We do not accept pets at Skynile.

Smoking is not permitted inside the dome or within the immediate outdoor wellness area. This applies to cigarettes, cigars, and vaping devices.

Skynile domes are designed for two guests only and are not suitable for events, gatherings, or additional visitors.

All guests must be 18 years of age or older. Children are not accommodated at Skynile.

Driving is the recommended and practical means of access for both locations.
